Will the Degree Work in India? Yes Here’s Exactly How
This is the question every parent asks. Here’s the complete answer
Your child completes their MBBS degree at an NMC-approved university abroad.
After returning to India, they sit the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) now transitioning to NExT (National Exit Test).
On clearing FMGE/NExT, they receive their Indian medical license and can work as a doctor in India.
Thousands of Indian doctors working in hospitals today did their MBBS abroad. The pathway is established, legal, and recognized by the Government of India. We will only recommend universities where the FMGE pass rates are documented and strong. We do not place students in universities we cannot verify.
Ask us for FMGE pass rate data for every university we recommend. We share this in your free counselling session — before you apply.
What HP Students Say
“I scored 415 in NEET. Every private college in India wanted ₹75 lakhs. LearnSmart HP showed me Kyrgyz State Medical Academy — ₹5 lakhs a year, NMC-approved. They handled my visa, documents, and pre-departure prep. I’m in my second year in Bishkek. This was the right decision.”
“My parents were terrified. The counsellor sat with them for two hours & answered everything safety, degree validity, what happens if I fail FMGE. He even connected my mother with a student already in Georgia. That call convinced my parents. I’m in Year 1 at ALTE University, Tbilisi. No regrets.”
